Footwear
For
everyone's health and safety open-toed shoes, slip on shoes,
sandals, and flip flops are not allowed on property. Anyone
wearing this footwear will not be allowed into the barn or down to
the ring. Sneakers may be worn during barn time and beginning
riding lessons. A boot with a low heel is required. Students
should purchase their own boots if they have ridden for more than
ten lessons. Light up sneakers are not allowed for lessons or
programs.
Hair and Jewelry
A pony tail
should be worn low on the neck so that it doesn't interfere with
the fit and comfort of your helmet. Corn rows, beads, barrettes,
clips, and pig tails will impair helmet fit and safety. Large
earrings and noisy bracelets are not appropriate riding wear.
Helmets
Riding
helmets are required and provided. Regular lesson students
must purchase their own helmets if they have ridden more than ten
lessons. Students who do not purchase their own helmets will be
assessed a charge.
