Blue Hills Riding Center is a family-owned and
operated teaching facility located minutes from downtown Boston and Quincy at the
edge of the Blue Hills Reservation. We are horsewomen and men who are eager to
share our love, dedication, knowledge, passion, and quest for learning about
our horses, and, about ourselves.
BHRC is a leader in the creation of innovative, affordable, equine educational programs for children and adults with our school vacation programs, Riding 101, and 110 Horsemanship. We are the premier collaborative-learning partner affiliated with the Italian Home for Children in Jamaica Plain. Blue Hills Riding Center also works with other social service, educational, and non-profit agencies and organizations from Quincy, Boston, and the surrounding metropolitan area.

We offer boarding, horseback riding lessons, pony rides, birthday party packages, corporate and group events, adult education seminars, scout groups, and children’s school vacation and summer programs. Volunteer opportunities are available for older children and adults to learn about, work with, and gain "hands on" experience with horses. Our instructors are licensed professionals who
are not only great teachers, but they're students as well! All BHRC instructors
have five or more years teaching experience and are active students who train
with other area clinicians and equine professionals. |
